The main modules within GURU perform the following
administrative tasks:
Student Records
Student Records provides you with quick access to every student
related function in GURU. With a few mouse clicks, you view a
student's profile, schedule, report card, and medical history -
whatever information you need at the moment!
Student Profile
The student profile screen gives you access to all essential
student information including address and phone number. The
graphical toolbar, located at the top of the student profile
screen, enables you to view secondary student information
screens with one click of the mouse. File folder tabs organize
important student information. User definable text, list, and
date fields enable you to customize School database to
maintain student information unique to your school.
Attendance
You can record attendance by day and/or by period. Absences and
Leaves can be marked with reason-specific codes and can be
classified as excused or unexcused. Many great reports are
available, including student absents for the past 'n' days., etc
Student Examination Records
Marks for the current school year can be entered by student or
by class. Define as many Subjects, Classes, Subjects in Specific
Class, Minimum passing marks etc as your requirements. GURU
prints great looking report cards and transcripts that can
enhance the professional image of your institutes. Optionally
connectivity to the web site of the institution, which can
graphically display individual student result records, fee
details and notice board information can also be developed.
Time Table Management
This is the cumbersome task for any educational institute. GURU
can generate the time table for Teacher and Class Wise both.
Following are the features of this module.
Time Table generation becomes a matter of minutes if not
seconds.
Time Table for both teachers and students.
Auto-generation of Time Table with provision for fine tuning ,
if needed.
Due to speed the Time Table can be generated even in the
middle of session, at any time to meet the exigencies of the
situations.
Time Table can be produced by anyone with only a bit of
knowledge to handle the computer.

a consequence of the above a lot of saving on account of time
and manpower.
Library Module
GURU will maintain the book history, card history, Issued and
Returned Books, Penalty (if Any), Possible date of availability
of books and the defaulters list. Library user can search any
book with in a second. User can search the books on Author,
Publisher, Subject or on name of book. There is no way for book
robbers to skip. Rich Amount of Reports are available for making
system more smooth.
Faculty Records
Maintain complete records on your faculty and staff. Transform
your faculty database into a resource center of skills, talents,
and prior experience which you can draw from.
System Administration
System Administration is your control center for accessing your
software "tool box". From this menu, you can set up your faculty
records, classes, departments, periods, codes - everything
necessary to customize School Minder for your school.
